On Wednesday, December 18th, as part of the Ethics and Religious Culture program taught in schools in the Province of Quebec (Canada), a group of children from a nearby school visited St. George's Cathedral in Saint-Hubert. Mrs. Caudia Rosu one of the cathedral's faithful, teacher at that school, led the group of children.
They were welcomed by His grace Bishop Ioan Casian. During the visit the hierarch explained to the youngest what the church means, the division of the liturgical space, the significance of the icons and iconostasis, the liturgical vestments, the presence of the holy water and the anaphora etc.
At the end the hierarch gave to the children icons representing the Nativity of the Lord and the saints.
